I would really like to see the Rep System.
I did for other though, A view new topics option not the just the last random however many posts, that jus doesn't let you get into the conversation like you used to be able too.
I have a proboards site myself and it is annoying.

to be honest with you kreep, I like the forum as it is. However the suggestions made so far are nice ideas.

to be honest with you kreep, I like the forum as it is. Yes, the forum we have is a very good start, but, for future reference on other projects, there has to be somehting that you liked the most on the og that you would like to see on future forums, even if we already have it on the od. |

Because of licensing issues between pro-boards and everyone else, there is no converter out there to carry over posts and user accounts. What we'd like to do at some point is expand this forum and make it a little more like the a5og... Read as VB, User rankings, rep system, etc... We're looking to see what it is that the membership here would like to see as a bit of a guage as to whether or not the move would be a) appreciated and accepted and b) a positive move for the future of the forum. We don't want to "That forum which shall remain nameless" ourselves by pissing off most of the forum members and running them off. |

Thats a cool idea. VB would be great. Is there any way to migrate the posts here to it? Moving threads from one forum to another should be as easy as cut and paste... Not like it wasn't done before. If it's done this time though, we're going to give the owners of the individual threads full credit, as well as let them post in thier threads and have the topics returned to them... No more "Originally posted by Joe Blow" on posts that mods carry over. The users themselves would be given the oportunity to "re-claim" thier threads and have the posts transfered to their accounts. |

I think the server we were looking at gives out 1000 pop mail accounts with a paid server contract... |

Well, first off you guys have taken the big first step of acttually getting our feedback on the matter, something not really done by TFWSRN. It was done and that was it. I think any move that is designed to improve and not remake this forum would be most welcomed by the members and anything to bring it closer to our beloved A5OG would be even more welcomed. |
