NYC players check-in

Hi guys,

Although the majority of the community lives outside of the major cities, I was hoping to keep a running list of all the NYC members. I'll update this first post as more of you check in. I arrange games about once a month with my friends and relatives within an hour's drive of the city. Hopefully we can get a good group together for a few good games.

I'm really looking forward to it. The only scenarios I've played at have been out at High Velocity on LI. Nice field, but very small.

Any helpful hints / intel for a Liberty Paintball newbie?

There are too many fields at Liberty for me to give you any useful intel on but I can give you some tips:

• Stick w/ other A-5s. The groups of milsim A-5ers that go to Liberty are damn good and move like a team.
  
• Don't get comfortable in a tank or bunker or you'll just waste a lot of paint in a standoff against another tank or bunker.
  
• Bring a radio so that the generals can tell you where help is needed.

I agree with Hartigan on that. A-5 owners tend to think along the same wavelength which can be beneficial in a team situation.

I wrote a review on Liberty's June game. a5og.proboards33.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=gendisspaint&thread=1129575143&page=1. I thought the September one was the last one but it looks like they just added November. Awesome. I'll see you guys there.

I'm also planning a trip to Skirmish on November 13th. If enough people give me deposits I'll provide bus transportation. 15 of my friends have already signed up.

East Elmhurst, NY here and have a bunch of buddies that play but don't get online.
Play at High Velocity, Cousins (Coram) and Skirmish.

Been to Cousins (Plattekill), Hornet's Nest and some others. I won't go again because facility just doesn't justify by the amount of travel.
