I wanted to see if anyone here is interested in going to the West Point Spring game on April 22-23. My friend volunteered his 2 ATVs for paintball tanks if I can get the requirements. I've tried emailing them and they haven't gotten back to me. Does anyone know a phone number for any of the people organizing it or the tank requirements. When I was there last the tank was a suburban with an A-5 hanging out the back so i can't imagine they are that strict.

I had a number from last year that was for one of them but they must have graduated. :-\

If I rember what my team mates who went were saying the safety was poor-non existanat, there were cases of people with no masks on in the feild. other ludacrist things.

If I rember what my team mates who went were saying the safety was poor-non existanat, there were cases of people with no masks on in the feild. other ludacrist things. The cadets put on two scenarios a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Safety and logistical issues were a big problem in both of the 2004 games and the spring 2005 game. I attended two of those games and can personally attest to this. Prior to this, the West Point games were well-run. I've attended many of those old games and can personally attest to this as well. The logistics and safety issues have now been reportedly addressed and resolved. The Fall 2005 game was very well recieved by players. I did not go to this game, but have such reports from players whose judgement i trust. There is a new set of cadets running the games and they are very capable of running safe and enjoyable games. The West Point Spring 2006 scenario is back on my list of games to consider attending next season.

One of the cadets got back to me a week ago. They are going to have the tank rules posted around the end of the month. :-)

Team Pain ... sup guys ... I still remember how we hid that "Nuke" back in Stalingrad 2004 Hehehe
Anyway, Spring 2005 at West point did have logistical problems ... they failed to provide ample air and food was almost non-existant ... but I heard only good things about their Fall 2005 ... I guess they learned ... but regardless of the issues ... people will love the authenticity of the terrain ... its not your average burnout grassless terrain ... you can go prone and disappear here ... you have natural boulder and rock formations that force you learn flanking maneuvers ... tree /shrub obstacles ... etc. The terrain alone is worth the trip. See you all there in Spring 2006

the fall '04 game was the one i didn't go to. i'll tell the guys you said, hi. you're absolutely right about the terrain. it's varied and rough. i love it. the only other field that is very similar to West Point in terrain features is, Strategy Plus (CT). here's the link to the West Point site: www.armypaintball.com

I've always wanted to attend one of these! Are we registering as a group?
