Doesn't really matter, But it is nice to have a forum just for the a-5 owners.. You will still have the A5OD complete section at wwopb.com just bringing everyone under one roof... ...PG

The best aspect of the old A5OG was the sense of camaraderie that developed within the membership. I didn't feel that again until lurking on the Weekend Warrior site. Any forum out there, no matter how long it has been in existence, needs work but the key for me was the feeling of community. I found that again in Weekend Warriors. Join, be active, make suggestions to improve the forum if there is something that you don't like. As for me, I love it! I agree 100%, I vote yes also. Torch

I'm a newer member, but I vote for the merger. But both sites are cool.

Hi guys,
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I got promoted a few months back and it's been a lot harder to sign on and contribute as much as I used to.
If you remember your A5OG history (especially toward the end), you'll know that I had A LOT to say about how poorly I felt management handled the transition to the new forum, and how badly I thought the members were treated for speaking their minds. Management did as they saw fit with complete disregard for the opinions of the very people that made the forum such a raging success.
As such, I'll always be a little hesitant when big moves happen but it looks like A5OD management is handling it well and is genuinely concerned with pleasing its members; for that I thank them. The Weekend Warriors site looks great and reminds me of the A5OG (home). I'll miss having a site dedicated exclusively to the great A-5, but I'll soon get over it.
Best of luck to all of us with this new forum and I hope to get more involved in the future. If management needs help with anything, feel free to let me know.
Take care, Mavro (Nick)
PS - I'll take a bump, too, if you guys don't mind.

There is a thread over there were everyone can ask for the bumpage... It's a check in thread for UMS and A5OD members.
Also, the A5OD is represented over there almost completely... Just join the a5od usergroup from the USERCP page under Group Memberships, and you open up the whole OD site over at the WEW...

I got lucky and happened to stumble on a mention of this site, over on the "That forum which shall remain nameless", which I had pretty much quit going to, because the was never anything new. I also just checked out the Weekend Warrior site. I like it. I recognized a lot of names.
I have no problem with the merge idea. I just registered over there, so now I have somewhere else to try and go on my lunches.

I'm all for it. I'm another one who reads alot but doesn't post alot. I tend to be more active in the SpecOpsBrigade Forumbut will probably be active on WEW. Can I get a Bump at WEW? I was a member of the original A5OG (even bought a patch which is proudly dislayed on my jacket!).
