I'm just looking for some opinions on what barrel kit to get for my promaster. I'm lookin at the sceptor kit, freak kit, evil pipe kit. maybe the empire kit, but I don't know anything about it. I have some experience with the freak kit, but thats it. please give my your suggestions. thanks a bunch.

I would get a Lapco kit ;D
Of those, the Sceptor is my recommendation. Lots of backs and very affordable. Only thing is it doesn't seem too tough, from what I've seen from MerrSonn's kit.
I definately don't recommend the Freak or Empire kits from what I've read about them.

I have the Scepter and I like it a lot. Cheap, quiet, accurate, handsome... what's not to like? It also comes with a nice hardcase with space for all the inserts, two backs, two fronts, and other small stuff like batteries or barrel covers. Only thing is that one of my inserts has something in it (possibly a fault in the ano?) but I think it came from the factory like that. I'm gonna send an email off to Powerlyte when I get a chance. But anyways, I do recommend the Scepter.

I dont see it, but what about a Macdev Matchstick kit? I have one and love it. It has 3 fronts and 4 backs. Its quiet and very well made. Its not a bad price either, 140 I think BN

another kit I might be lookin into is the stiffi switch, Ety brought it to my attention. I'll have to see what the prices are on them. Marine, I did check the match stick out, but again, I haven't heard anything on them.

I have a J&J edge kit in 'cocker threads, and hopefully will have an Accushot kit, too, soon.
If you want to try them out (or MerrSonn's Scepter, I bet), just ask.
BTW, Marine, what is your avatar from?
