When the Ego was first released it was the new craze around the paintball world. In my opinion it was sexy as hell. I then came along pics of the 06 Ego and I was dumb-founded... I find it ugly as ****!!!!!!!! Possibaly the worst milling on a paintball gun I have ever saw and then there is the reg... It makes me mad that P.E. would release such a thing (dont know what to call it) after their beautiful Ego. This is just my opinion, now whats your's? Its not ugly enough to keep me from shooting it if it shoots as good or better then the last ego.

It's ugg - The reg truely kills it...
On the other hand, I like the Bushwackers Ego!
EDIT: New Ego = Spyder lookalike w/ uglier reg...
Yea did I say I hated that reg?
On the regs defence, it acts like a volumizer almost - It actually allows you to drop the pressure of the Ego by around ~50PSI.

Except the reg, it's fine. I never liked the "older" Ego's looks, I like this a little better.
Paintball has horrible inflation, y'know?

It's too bad the local proshop around here are a bunch of jerks and have completely spoiled the Planet Eclipse brand name for me. When ever I see a PE, I just think of the idiots that have ALWAYS given me bad information pertainging to just about any paintball gun.
Was never really a fan of any PE guns anyway only because I find them ugly but they sure to have a great reputation and I cannot knock them for that.
My vote is that "it's alright".

my friend has the 05 ego and let me tell you that thing is a beast, and btw i think it looks 100x better.

I voted "its alright". People do custom milling on their guns to shave off weight and sometimes it looks "uglier" because its not the original gun they had in their mind. The new ego has insane milling--even the reg! I'd buy one if the price was right. Heck, I think the Karni's ugly but damn is it fast!
