first off as a sniper dont get seen. Best way to avoid this is my not doing anything that will catch the human eye. this includes BAD CAMO and exesive movement. i get caught all the time only because i went to scratch my face. I've learned that most snipers cant get away with regular camo, like old army BDU's. Its 2D which unlike 3D camo "ghille suits" dont break up your human figure outline, Make a suit, it takes about 30 hours but people will walk on you.
unlike a real firearm, paintball guns cant travel 1600 meters. so a sniper normally sits about 10 feet away from the opfore if hes good, or lucky. This is where it gets the hardest, your blood is PUMPING FAST and u know u can get that shot. GO FOR IT but only if there one or two guys anymore and your out numbered and dead, if theres more that 2 wait for them to walk behind you and tap um in the ass.
Your gun doesnt matter, dont waste 100$'s of dollars on a "sniper" gun most all guns travel the same and with a 285 FPS rule there gonna go the same distance, BUT do try to avoid shiny colors like red yellow and bright green.
I hope ive helped out!

I'm a firm believer in the fact you don't need a ghillie suit to be concealed, I've been stepped on before in nothing but a set of old BDU's. The more important thing is knowing you're field, know what areas have little to no traffic, know where people tend to look and where they don't, know which areas offer concealment, and know how to move silently.
Ghillie's can be great, but the above are far more important

Also, a trick I always used was to grab some native vegatation and lay it on top of me, whether this be dead leaves, a leafy branches, or swamp weeds.

That about covers it, but also take take this into account: If your mask isnt camoed up, then i try to assume a position where the sun is behind me and blocked by as much vegetation as possible so opfors cannot see the reflection of you. It also allows you to be somewhat silhouetted. I have seen countless people get capped because the enemy saw a breif reflection of the mask.
