There are a few quick rules to keep in mind when posting on our forum.
1. No foul language. No swearing beyond PG-13.
No Pornography or nudity ANYWHERE.
2. No bypassing the language filter
3. No Spamming or Flaming will be tolerated. Keep it friendly. Don’t say anything racist or in the spirit of hate.
4. No bartering or selling in any forum or thread except the buy/sell/trade forum.
5. No corporate posts. If you are a company and want to sell something talk to the staff before you do anything.
6. Dual Log in names are not allowed dual log in names will result in a permanent ban if you have a problem with your current account talk to an admin before thinking about making a new one.
7. Unless you are under 18 years of age you are not allowed to post in the Young Guns forum. The only exception for this rule is if you get prior staff approval for the post through pm’s.
8. Make sure you post in the right forum. Don’t post air system info in the a5 forum that should go in the air system forum we have subsections use them the staff is not here to move your posts for you.
9. The staff is not responsible for deals that go down in the B/S/T section. If a deal goes bad the staff of the A5OD is in no way responsible for what happened, but we will try to help if we can.
10. These rules are not up for interpretation arguing with the mod staff will more than likely get you nowhere. Though if you have any quality suggestions feel free to pm a member of the staff.
11. No OUTWAR posts, period. Any links found to OUTWAR type sites will be deleted and a "strike" will be issued followed by a perm IP ban if posting continues.
12. No thread hijacking. If you have another topic to discuss or an unrelated question make your own thread and don't post it in someone elses unrelated thread.
If you see any posts violating these rules please report it. With your help we will create another great home for a5 users.
These rules are fluid and subject to change at any time as it becomes neccesary so view them on a regular basis to stay up to date.
Minor Infractions: For minor violations such as posts in the wrong subsection a three strike system will be used where the member will be given up to three warnings before an initial ban is required. If the violator continues to break the rules the punishments will become more severe.
Average Infractions: For direct violation of rules such intentionally as bypassing language filter the system of punishment may be more severe. For example an offender might be only given one warning and then for the next infraction a temporary ban will be enacted.
Major Infractions: For major infractions such as corporate spamming, direct flaming, racism, dual log in names to avoid temp bans, you will be banned on the spot.
These above punishments are just examples of the level of response that could be expected. They are flexible and will be determined on a case to case basis. But know this the mod staff holds the right to edit anything deemed to be inappropriate.
