A few months ago I ran across a post that talked about some quick release thumb screws for the A5. There was a comparison made between two vendors, one was Machine Head and the other I can't remember. Anyway, I tracked down the Machine Head guy on E-Bay and he's made a batch of these things again. They're made from T6 6061 Aluminum and are Anodized. I just bought a set for $15.00 and will let you all know what they're like when they arrive. Here's a link to the site for all those interested; search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZ928powerQQhtZ-1

i just went to the home depot, and picked up Wing head bolts in the correct size/thread and a couple of aluminum stand-pffs (bushings). Then I painted them flat black. They work perfect, and cost me less than 5 bills.

My "Machine Head" Quick Change Thumb Screws just arrived (less than one week via Snail Mail).
They're very light weight, fit perfectly and are nicely anodized in black. I'm able to snug these things down for very tight fit with my Flatline and my J&J Ceramic as well.
I'll post pictures if anyone wants to see them (I need a new battery in the camera).
This was a Slam Dunk. I'm happy.
