Looking for some advice. I am currently running a remote and an expansion chamber with CO2. I am in the process of fabbing an air through mag well to move my mag from the front grip location to over the air line. In order to do this, I would need to remove the X chamber. Is the X chamber necessary with the remote. I live in the northeast, and don't want my gun to freeze up in the early part of the season.

The X chamber isn't necessary while running a remote line. The remote line itself will act like an expansion chamber. I had a remote on my old M98C...and living up in Canada didn't have any problems with freezing.

thats what I was thinking, but I wanted a second opinion. The mag well is coming along, needs some trimming, holes drilled, paint etc
