Here's the latest one I did. I noticed something also, I never polished the internal body. So I took them to the brass wire wheel today and coated w/ Mommy Mag. Reassembled with a fresh 9volt. It pur'ed like a walrus! [edit] Oh yeah, here's the audio file media.putfile.com/Tippmann-at-22bps[/edit] As for your audio file. Is it a .wav file? If so I can. If mp3 might take some time. I'll need to find a converter that has mp3 to wav. I don't know why but the program I use, Sony Soundforge, just doesn't have the ability to do mp3s. Oh well. But email me MephInside@gmail.com and I'll get-r-done.

It's a WAV. It's imbedded in my post (links don't show up well on this forum though), so a right click-save as should do it for you.

But that link goes to putfile. And you can't do anything such as "right click > save as" there. I would need the actual file on my harddrive to open in Sony SF to do a spike test.
*edit* Well #### beans, you're in Syracuse... Syracuse, NY? If so I'm sorry because I used to live there also, I know the pain! Haha. Right now hell I'm only living about 45min away from there.

Meph, you were right. The cyclone can sustain some pretty high ROF - last night I got it to maintain 24bps (shooting paint), with some skips at 26. Sorry, no vid, but I can do it again when I have a camera man.

Well I plan on getting some paint/air today. Hope to document a nice 22 or 24 or higher bps rate. I'll just keep upping it until it stops working properly And I know it'll do well... so long as it's a full hopper. Once the hopper part is mostly empty and the only paint left is that within the cyclone cylinder area. That's when I start having shots skip consistently. But full hopper... sustained 3 seconds of 22bps with only I think 2 skips. I'm quite happy. OH and with the Cyclone I STILL have yet to chop a ball! Screw the Tippmann ACT the Cyclone will do good enough.

New video - 24 bps, with paint (on full auto, rocking the A5OG t-shirt that I forgot I had). There were a couple skips in there, but no more than three, which I think is pretty darn good. I apologise that it isn't longer, but my neighbors get annoyed with my loud noises. I'll try to get one at a paintball field sometime, but I don't know when I'll be able to. The video! (2.1 mb) Any way someone can Goldwave that for me and see if it really is 24 bps? I have to take the board's word for it.
