What are the steps to do something like that? What materials do you need to do it? I would like to give that a try.

you need: 3M 90 spray adhesive marine goop waterproofing spray camo cloth... (bandana recommended) but any type would work. a bandana is thin and breathes well xzacto knife super glue first clean the mask well -cut the cloth into strips big enough to cover part of your mask... if you cut it to big it will bunch up badly -start from the middle of your mask and work your way toward the back -spray glue the section that you are working on and apply cloth. make sure to let the cloth overlap alittle. -trim the overlap so that you have about 1/2 inch -spray the overlapping cloth and apply to inside of mask - let dry -super glue any seams that are loose (watch your fingers) -cut out any holes that you want to use for ventilation ... you dont need to cut out every hole... if you look at my mask (profiler) i just cut out the front and 5 of the slits on the side -if the cloth is loose around the vent holes apply super glue... this did happen alittle to me but it wasnt bad -apply goop to the back side to seal and hold the seams better -spray with waterproofer after you do this you'll need to let it sit for about a week to allow the mask to dry -cut out any goop that is blocking the vent holes... -allow to dry

Those are some awesome masks there a5overkill. Last year at Oklahoma D-Day 05' there was a guy who had ACUPAT on his mask. He did the same thing you did with the MARPAT bandanas. GOOD JOB! *Thumbs up!* Tippmann the AK-47 of the paintball world.

A+ ;D
I'd love to hear how these hold up after a few days of play, but sounds like you've done an excellent job with these. Not shiny at all (other then lense, but other ways to handle that) and I'd guess it'll hold up to flexing and bending pretty well too.

Good job guys, I've been working on something similar with my mask/ pod belt. I am using marpat fabric I bought at a fabric store and Fabric-Tac,which I purchased at SprawlMart. It dries fast, kinda like superglue for fabric and the smell disappears as it dries. If I can figure out how to post a pic I will, I'm a comp. no nothing, lol
