Just an overall question of how do you play paintball?
Are you the guy that stays in the back with the Flatline, picking your foe off one at the time. The lone wolf that goes off by himself and tactfully outflanks the other team? The agressive frontman who charges out to take key positions and get early kills? The wise backman who stays in the rear, dumping pod on top of pod worth of paint calling out the other teams positions?
Lets hear about YOUR playing style...

If you ask anyone that plays with me they will say Im very agressive. I don't like to stay in one place for too long, and I believe the best defence is a good offense. Im usually on point, I usually take all the fire and have my other team mates flank while I advance and keep the opposition's heads down. Im a firm believer of military style tactics, and I use them. I will rush the opposition when I get the chance.

I'm that guy who runs off with a small group to go do something on their own, like hide or go down the side. We basically either accomplish a lot, or all die at once.

I usually like to go solo or with one other person and act as scouts... I usually play woodsball mostly. If anything else, i'm more of a back or mid player.

i don't really have a permanent style, i'll do what is needed and ask no questions. i don't mind taking some shots for a "moving-target" to take the heat off someone else. i move quick and dont like to get on the ground if not needed, i feel vulnerable and unprotected. (remember guys, always have protection ;-) i don't like to sit in one place for too long but i do have moderate patience. i'll do whatever i feel sounds good that day, no real specification. i aim for fun, thats what its all about.

I usually take one guy with me, or go alone.
Once in a great while i will play frount man.
I almost NEVER go with the group. Most of the time i dont like there tactics and they are to loud..(my friends i play with).
Sometimes i will advance up and find the opposing team...get back to my team and set them up for an ambush or advance them all up..but in a good format.

Well, I play outlaw woodsball. A usual outcome for our games are 4 on 4 or 5 on 5, so its nothing special. I'm usually the one who comes up with the initial strategy, and I'm usually the first guy out their giving, and taking the fire. But, my friends know to watch there back, because once I find the other team, we trade some paint, then I use some surpressive fire so I can drop back, without them advancing. Then I come from around them, or from beyhind, and get them by surprise.

For woodsball, I agree with CS player. It seems that I always get stuck in the noob tube squad and end up taking a buddy with me to try something dramatic.
On the speedball field though, I love to play front, but am more benificial for my team to play back. Playing back I'm a good communicator who knows how to throw paint down the lanes; playing front, well, I end up getting shot pretty good but it's all in the fun of it!

I love getting up there and as long its muddy I slide around like... something that slides around alot!! In woodsball Im more of a sabre(spec ops class) as in I fill in alotta positions; our commander took a hit and is out, I can fill in with some not-so-great tactics; the tank needs to be destroyed, I'll run out and be decoy so our grenadier could get up close. Speedball, Im def a front-man; I run up there and bunker people and try to get the op-for front and mid-men in cross fire.

I usually run as far away from the group as I can without going out of bounds. They draw the principle fire away from me. Sometimes I'll take a friend and we'll quietly flank the opforce. My ghille suit helps when I'm in the mood to sit in a bush and wait, and wait, and wait...ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
OK, I'm back. It's always fun to hear the enemy yell, "Look out! That bush is shooting at us!" lol

A lot of times when I see somebody off in the distance I'll put a volley down on them, and run to either their left or right flank and try to nail them in the side. Most of the time it works, but sometimes, if they've played with me before, they just sit and wait. lol

With my TearDrop I either move point or middle in a 3 or 4 man team. But with my Apex I provide very effective covering fire for multiple teams to move forward. I have very good eyes so I call out where exactly the tangos are and how many are at each bunker/log/brush.

Wow, really good question. I usually play with the same number of guys (mostly recball) in the woods. We pretty much play all positions and that usually depends on how we encounter the other team, where they are located, who is doing the firing on the other side, etc...
Since we know each other pretty well, you really have to mix it up or else you'll become predictable and the other side can easily have a good guess as to how you'll be reacting.
So the key to how I ball would be that whatever team I am on, we act as just that.....a team. For us that is the key to it. Communication, pointing out where others are, keep track of where your teammates are, etc. all becomes part of it.
We take turns with suppressive fire to keep the other dudes bunkered down so we can individually move up or the side or any part of the field we need to. So at times, I am aggressive and at times, I lay back and kinda act as the backman. It all depends what is needed at that time.

I feel most comfortable as a scout, ghost flanker, guard (protecting the rear if in enemy territory), or other quasi-independent role. However, it's very satisfying just working as a team, regardless of my role. I could go all day and not see action, as long as I knew I was a contributing member of the team.

In Speedball I like to play in the front or mid, however I can play a very good back when I need to.
In Scenarios at night I usually play with 2-3 man groups and play very sneaky and stealthy, usually with a guille and a silenced pump.
In Scenarios in the day, If I'm a medic I try to stay back and keep from being shot to help my team, but there's always that urge to jump up there.
In Recball, it all depends on the people I'm playing against. If it's average players I try to be easy so they can have a good time and want to play again.
