DO NOT put anything besides a beverage in cup or glass. I had to transport a 4 yr. old girl to the hosp. today because she drank kerosene. This is the second kid in 2 months that I had to take care of from ingesting poisons!

Some kind of petroleum based cleaner or something. Burmed when you smelled it even.

Kids will eat anything.

Far as I know, parent(s) were just shortcutting and putting the fluid into cups.

We dont take too many calls on that kinda stuff, but normally the kids that small are in bed when I come on shift.
Switched one to poison control that had drank bleach. Like I said, they will eat or drink anything.
