"King Kong" movie review:

Saw King Kong on Friday and have to give it 2 thumbs up. I really liked it (so did my 9 Y/O son). The special effects were great. It was similar to the original black and white version. Jack Black's character was definetly different from what he normally plays.

On the previews: they are making a Miami Vice movie, starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx. Looks promising. the Xmen 3 previews alos looked good.

And when will X3 be coming out?

I may go see King Kong on my next day off...Day off, I remember what those were.

If I am remembering correctly, Xmen 3 is coming out in May 06.

Went and saw it. I must say the preview of Xmen III looks really awsome. It's gonna kick butt.

Kong was okay, but man it was too long. It was like an hour and a half before you ever got to see the blooming monkey. The second hour and a half was pretty good.
