I finally got a new job. The hunt has been long but worth it. I am the newest Dakalb Co. Sheriff's dept. Dispatcher. Best part is I don't start until Jan. 1. Bad part 3rd. shift. At least it;s full time.

Congrats man, with it being third shift you might be able to play some more PB.

I was a reserve for 3 years, My problem is with the interviews. I am planning on playing more. I intend to play with Doc and Painterghost and go for out for GLR

The down low in Communications, THIRD SHIFT IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! No brass around all the time. None of the administrative BS calls to deal with. And shear call volume is lower. Nights is the time to dispatch. I hated first. Second was best for sleeping, but the call volume was a son of a gun. Third is nice and quiet. And the supervisor is a great guy. Oh yeah, that right, I'm supervisor.  |
