I'm running out of things to but for my A-5 and I honnestly just heared about the MADDMAN spring kit. I'm courious about the performance of the kit, if it really makes and difference and if so, how? Also, my A-5 has the R-T trigger; does the lighter trigger pull from the spring kit help find the sweet spot easier or more difficult???

Main reason for the purchase of the MADDMANN spring set is an LPK setup or running a Flatline to get your velocity up to the optimum setting. Normally this is the case but others, myself included, will purchase the kit to replace old worn out drive springs and lighter trigger pulls.
I have one installed on my A5 now and it works great, drive spring was worn out almost and the new spring really woke up the ol A5 again. Trigger pull is very light and sensative, just perfect IMO.

A spring kit won't really do anything for you performance wise if you're already shooting at a desireable velocity, it'll just help you bump it up or down if you ever have trouble chronoing. I bought a kit about a year and a half ago and have yet to use it, but the $10 it cost me was well worth the security of knowing that I'll never have to sit out a day due to velocity problems. Definitely a "must have" IMO.

The spring kit is not only good for velocity but trigger feel and stronger sear return.

Increasing the strength of the hammer spring will allow the valve to stay open longer. You can use this, as suggested above, to increase inadequate velocity, or you can use this to trade volume for pressure. That is, you can reduce your system pressure if you can increase the flow volume.

That will fit just fine. They make a single kit for the 98, Pro-Carbine, and A5.

which spring goes in the sear return and which goes in the trigger? The non-colored springs are identical and can be used for either trigger or sear. I swapped them both, but I worried that the shorter & lighter spring on the sear might make it catch funny under rapid fire and round off the sear, so I put the stock blue one back in. I can't really tell the difference in trigger pull between the two springs on the sear, but imo with the stock sear spring it makes it feel more sturdy under fire. Eitherway, they both have a noticeably lighter pull than stock with just the lighter trigger spring.
