Little more information from the website:
Latest News Imagine if your Model 98 , Custom 98 , Custom Pro , or A-5 marker never chopped another paintball!
The INDEPENDENT BOLT DRIVE SYSTEM (I.B.D.S.) by Force Paintball uses a patent-pending, spring action bolt assembly to unleash the true potential of your Tippmann® marker. In addition to completely eliminating ball chops, the I.B.D.S features much tighter tolerances thereby reducing blow-back and increasing accuracy. The I.B.D.S. can be installed by anyone in a matter of minutes and requires no irreversible modifications. The new parts simply drop in! It works on virtually every configuration, including those already upgraded with RT Kits, Low Pressure Kits, or new style e-Grip Kits. In fact, I.B.D.S. works so well you could run your marker on full-auto, at maximum rate-of-fire, with a standard gravity feed loader and still not chop a single ball!
The I.B.D.S is a field operators dream! Everyone knows that cheaper field grade paints are less round and more prone to jamming. Adding the I.B.D.S. to your rental markers ensures your customers spend more time on the field shooting paint and less time complaining and waiting for clean-up services. The wear and tear from stripping markers down, and time required for end of day cleaning are reduced to almost zero!
To illustrate the ultra soft responsiveness, and anti-chopping properties of the I.B.D.S. click the video link to see us try to break a toothpick by putting it in the breech under full auto fire!!!!
Now watch a clip of the very same marker firing paint chop-free at previously unmatched speeds!!!!

The guys that run and designed the bolts are WDP Master Techs, you know, Angel dudes! Cool!
Let me check into it and see what they say. I am trying to get a couple sets for A-5OD testing and reviews. Can't promise anything but I will try...

I'm VERY interested in this, but am looking for the so-called "video links" on the site. Can't find 'em anywhere...
If this is legit, and I don't doubt that it is, then this can be a MASSIVE leap forward for the TIppy...

I have contacted the owners. They too, like me, are moderators on AOG. Will keep you posted for sure.

Does anyone really need an anti-chop bolt for the A-5? Even if it works flawlessly? I could see its advantage for a 98. Actual chops are fairly rare in the A-5, and seem to be a symptom of a failing ratchet.

Actual chops are fairly rare in the A-5, and seem to be a symptom of a failing ratchet. Probably not needed for the A-5 because of exactly what you said. However the other claims (everything besides the anti-chop) intrigue me. We'll see.

Yes and no. Think beyond cyclone and A-5. Think Q-loader. This WAS board. Think 30bps. In those situations, something like this could come in VERY handy.

I've read about an ACS mod for the 98, in which you cut a notch in the front bolt's square peg, so that the connecting rod can no longer push the bolt forward, but only pull it backwards. Behind the front bolt is a weak, large diameter spring that fits over the end of the power tube and pushes the front bolt forward only when the connecting rod allows it to move forward. The only work the front bolt does then is to advance the paintball beyond the feed port and seal the bore so that the gas ejected from the end of the power tube can propel the ball.
This arrangement would mean that the force required to cock the marker would be the sum of compressing the main hammer spring together with compressing the new front spring. I believe the front spring would also contribute to the dwell of the hammer on the valve pin.

I am going to be able to grab a couple sets of these bolt kits for the 98C. I spoke with the owner of the company (the WDP MT) and he is going to get me a set to play around with in my 98C.
The A-5 bolt kit is still in development.
