Need some help

Ok great knews this summer my dads remarrying. So my future stepmom wants to get married at my aunt and uncles lakehouse, which is awesome cuz they said we could wear w/e we want(bathing suit and thats it for me ;D)
And more good news, new house! But that means two houses to sell. Which brings me to my question.

Which is better: clean up and house and get rid of some stuff, but still leave it sorta furnished; or totally take out everything?
