I got a new car!

So I have returned after a lengthly hiatus. I was at Air and Space Basic Course and didnt have internet access.

While I was there though, I did manage to pick up my dream car. It's a 2005 Subaru Impreza STi. I love this thing to death. It is VERY fast, heh heh.



If anyone is in southern Georgia or northern florida gimme a shout out. I love the weather down here right now, and I havent played since this summer.

Congrats, Madman! Are there more miles on the tires than the car now? Yeah...you know what I mean

Surprisingly no. This beast is all time all wheel drive, so to burn out i've got to get all four tires spinning, and that means i have to drop it into gear at 6000+ RPM. If I do about three or four of those things I'll have to get a new tranny.

I have however gone entirely too fast down a few backroads. I think I hit 130 on a flat stretch behind my house. (It was during the day and there was no one around.)

Jeez gimme some time here! I only got her two weeks ago. Im taking her into the shop on wednesday to get the motor looked at. I didnt realize it when I bought it but it just dosent sound right (good thing its still under warranty).

But at far as planned mods go... I want to start off with a window tint, then replace the hood and trunk with carbon fiber (I hate that fin!). Then get a short throw shifter and a Turbo-Back Exhaust and we'll call it good for now.

Nice ride. Some guy had one at teh field a month or two back and some dumb butt shot it. Put a small dent on his brand new 06. I think I would have beat the guy down if I had figured out who did it, and it wasnt my car.

Am am sorta leaning toward the Mazda Speed 6 they are bringing out. 279 hp and AWD.
