Well, a few days ago my One Pice 14 inch Custom Products barrel arrived. I didnt get to shoot it unitl today, when my friend and I finshed off the last of our paintballs and CO2 from our last game. I am going to score it on a 1-10 scale on a few different factors. Looks, ability to shoot a range of different paintballs, wieght, breaks, sound, accuracy, and price..
Looks: I love the looks of this barrel! I think it looks really sharp. Its pretty much a straight barrel, with a few part in the middle where its wider and thinner than the rest, and at the end it has ripples that go around the circumfrence of the barrel. I think it looks great, so I give it a 9 on this part.
Ability To Shoot a Range Of Different Paintballs: Well, I was only able to shoot really crappy old paint today. Some balls were mushy, alot had dimples, and almost every one was mishaped. But for the quality of the paintballs, I wasn't mad with its performance. Most balls went where I wanted them to, and thats good for the quality paintballs I was using. So for this part, I give the barrel an 8
Wieght: This barrel is pretty light. Its not the lightest barrel out their, but its defiantly not the heaviest. So for this part, the barrel deserves another 8.
Breaks: Not many break. I was satisfied. 9.
Sound: Quiestest barrel ever! The impact of the ball made a louder sound then the barrel did! This was the first thing I noticed when I shot. This barrel definatly deserves a 9!
Accuracy: This barrel is pretty accurate. Again, the paintballs had some effect on its performance. But I was very happy with this barrels accuracy. Definatly deserves an 8.
Price: $39.99 for this barrel was a great price. Seeing this barrel perform, I wouldnt be surprised if I had to pay $55 for it, but there are cheaper barrels out there. The price for this barrel deserves a 7!
So, the final tally comes out to: 9, 8, 8, 9, 9, 8, 7
(Im adding zeros to the end of the scores so I can average them together and it would come out as a number out of 100.)
90

______
570
570 divided by 7 (Not 6, thanks Newman!) and it equalls 82!
I think an 82 out of 100 is a great score, and this barrel is definatly a keeper in my book!
