Want to tone up with out having to drop a lot of cash on gym membership?
Then check out fitdeck.com.
A simple design, 52 high quality cards with body weight exercises on them.
Three different levels are listed on each card so that a beginner or an advanced PT nut can utilize them.
You basicly shuffle the deck and draw a card. You have 1 minute to complete the task.
In the card pictured above you perform 6/12/20 pushups depending on you level of fitness.
Now I know what you are saying, 1 minute to do 20 pushups!?! BAH! I'm a paintball gawd, i can do that in my sleep...Well I remember the first time I did the routine. I had to do 'chairs' (where you sit at a 90 degree angle against the wall for 50 seconds.) I pulled it off with ease. I thought, pshaw, this is sooooo lightweight. Well the next work out I didnt draw that card till the very end, and suddenly those 50 freaking seconds seemed like paintful death wishing eternity.
At the height of fitness (9 months ago) I was able to do all 52 cards (advanced level) in about 55 minutes. But what if you dont have 55 minutes?
Drop 20 cards and have a quick 20 minute workout!
Maybe you are a cardio nut like my martial artists brother, go for a quick 10 mile run and halfway through the run pull out the deck (from its convient carrying case) and do 10 cards then jump up and finish the run and perform another 10 when you finish.
One thing this system wont really do is add massive bulk to your puny frame. You are only doing bodywieght exercises, so there is not a lot heavy weight bearing stuff in the deck. Unless you are large. Like Goose.
But it will help you stay toned and it is one heck of a cardio workout.
So take a deck out to your next pb field and drop a few cards in between games.
Cost for deck w/ case: $18.95
