Hey guys I just picked this up so I can put it on my SITH grop frame but it the input hole does not line up right and so the elbow wont fit into it. Basically the hole faces the trigger guard directly and with the ASA angled back it just doesnt fit. I would like to trade for a gloss black CP reg, Detonator, or basically any other reg that has an elbow on the bottom of the reg input. I would take $45 shipped if someone wants it. It has no scratches and is brand new. I have not played with nor has it seen any dry fires. I just do not have the box anymore. Help me out here guys. Here are the pics:

You can just not screw it in all the way; the o-ring on top will still seal. That said, I may need a reg soon. But I don't really want a Torp

Yes, it will seal.
Like when I bought Azoth's T1, he had the reg turned out like 2/3-3/4s so the fitting was pointing straight back instead of to the left.
It may wobble a bit when not gassed up, but when gassed up it will be solid. Put a drop of oil on the o-ring.
Remember the threads on the reg are the same as a normal asa--they seal for a turn or so just fine.

Agree'd with ICBH - Heck, I even turn my regs to the side slightly looser than dead tight for the cosmetics of it. Gotta look good ya know You should be fine with it slightly loostened. One disagreement with ICBH, regs will seal at any place as long as there's a oring positioned correctly - They are not like tanks where they can only seal in the last turn or so (which is because of the pin valve on tanks).
