If you're looking for more paint, more air, more grenades, and more storage, this vest will really blow your skirt up. It holds over 1100 rounds of paint and can heft a truly gigantic air tank (no problem with the 92 ci.) but there's a bunch more than that going on.
The adjustable elastic waist gives you the stability of a pod belt. With its double-locking Velcro and double Velcro® tension panels, it comfortably wraps around you just as tight as you want, preventing your load from sloshing around as you run. No other vest on the market offers this feature, which is why they all sway from side-to-side as you bust up-field. Once again, SpecOps has taken the best concepts of tourneyball and converted them to woodsballer tech.
Your hydration bladder slips into a mesh pocket in the back of the vest. And, when you're not playing with a hydration unit, the mesh pocket breathes, (another industry first, if we're not mistaken).
The tank holder is another killer innovation. With the advent of air-through buttstocks, the woods player can now tuck his remote hose right up under his arm to prevent snagging on brush. The Broadsword vest holds your bottle in the perfect position to run a remote hose to the stock (or undergrip) of your paintball gun. The holder is designed to allow you to run your remote either on the left or the right to accommodate right and left-handed shooters.
Also, the vest has adjustable shoulder straps as well as adjustable side straps. The vest is available in sizes: medium, large and extra large, even though one size of vest can be adjusted to fit almost any body shape. The only difference between the sizes is the length of the main body part of the vest, similar to a life vest. (Hulk Hogan, or some other huge dude could wear a size small, but he would look DANG funny!) This vest truly offers the perfect fit for all body types.
On front, the Broadsword Vest gives you two huge grenade pockets (or you can fit three pod rockets in each pod slot in back). Also, there are two utility pockets. One of them has a pull-down, clear panel for your ID when you're playing scenarioball. Topping it all off it also has a perfectly-positioned radio pocket.
Every inch of the vest that could possibly be made out of mesh was made out of mesh. Because of the strong mesh construction, this is one of the most "breathable" vests out there. (The SpecOps guys play in the heat of the Utah summer, so it HAD to be breathable.) The bottom of the vest contains loops so you have the option of adding a web belt.
All in all, this vest incorporates the best we've seen and experienced, and takes paintball vests to next level. All this at a smoking price for the features offered!
