Standard E-Grip trouble...

ok.... i just got my e-grip a few days ago and i had my friend install it.... think it works fine because when i pull the trigger all the way back it fires.... but when i tap the trigger the e-grip only fires and does not make the gun it self fire.... that and when i jiggle the trigger from left to right.... it fires the e-grip.... i dunno if it should do that or not....i wanna know if this is normal or not.... or if i should just take it to my local field and have them look at it....

Easy fix.

Open up the Grip frame and open up the trigger group. There is a metal "block" on the back of the trigger with a spring under it. This is the trigger slider. It allows the sear to reset even if you have the trigger depressed during normal operation.

Remove the slider and the spring and put everything back together.

With that slider in place, the sear won't trip when the e-grip fires.
