Hey guys, just to let you guys know what CDP has cooking:
Next scenario event is being planned for the first weekend in March. Date may change if something comes up, but for now that is the next scheduled scenario. The theme is Cops and Robbers. Not got any details on it, but Ferg normally throws some good games.
And in October they are planning a big game. We are hopeing on the scale of 500 to 1000 players big. The last scenario saw the addition of the second Fire Base aka "Fire Base Rex". Nice trench system and tire bunker system/sand bag bunkers, beside the Air Base and Chopper. Well, for this game in October, they will be opening up 15 to 20 more acres of unused property and building around eight bases. This should bring CDP up to around 65 to 70 acres of playing area, with a total of around 15 or 16 bases.
This will be a multi day event, with some night play included on the Saturday. There should be several vendors and sponsors set up for sales and displays as well.
Also it should be noted that, they are trying to get it set up to be several tanks and armored assault vehicle there for this event. With a little luck, we will see some major tank battles. A tank contest may be in the works for this event. I know the field owner has been wanting to get a contest and tank battle going since the first of the year.
Date as of right now, which may change before then, but is October 6th thru the 9th, with game play the 7th and 8th.
Vash, you can figure Andrew will be calling Bo and Xray for help working this game, with staffing.
I will keep all the South East people updated as to all the details on what is going to be NC's biggest paintball throw down. Not to mention the three or so other scenario's planned between now and then.
