From SitRepRed: After a disgraceful one-sided defeat at Quan Loi, the North Vietnamese Army has been reinforced and is planning a major offensive against the US Army Special Forces forward operating base (FOB) near the village. Radio interceptions by SF commo experts have shown that the NVAs previous lack of communications has been resolved, and chatter would indicate that a large force is present. US commanders on the ground have asked for reinforcements, but to little avail. Air support is scarce with the loss of forward air control. Luckily for them they have 3 very well trained, and battle-hardened SF ODAs (operational detachment alpha) at the FOB ready to wreak havoc on any would-be invaders. Preparedness may be the only ally either side has. Both are planning for the worst, and hoping to make a final push to rid Cambodia of the enemy. It will prove to be a costly battle, but one that must be fought in order for the war to be won. Only the courageous will succeed, and the lucky survive.
