I needed to replace my battery on my egrip and when everything went back together the tirgger nub dosent appear to be engaging the micro switch. When the grip is replaced its not pushing down far enough on the tab.
Everything checks out fine when the grip is in place. The trigger assembly is sitting properly and wires are tucked under.
I slid a small piece of very thin cardboard under the switch and that seems to work but dont like the idea of that. Ive tried removing/installing the grip numerous times and the darn thing just wont engage the switch. Has any body had issues like this? Thanks.

you could remove the trigger and add some epoxy to the nub and let it dry to build it up.

Vashthestampede - Well that's another option. I figured I must have somehow bent the switch or something. It seems the pressure applied to the switch from the trigger nub has to be almost perfect... one small bend could throw the whole thing out of wack. For right now Ive decided to replace the thin cardboard slice with a thin plastic slice which Ive epoxied to the switch blade. Reason being is that I plan to upgrade to the WAS or APE board and would rather leave the trigger alone. Funny thing is, after apllying the plastic slice and readjusting the sensitivity, this thing is shooting better than it was before although the trigger pull is slightly heavier. I had problems walking this in the past because my fingers just couldnt move that delicately but since stiffening the trigger just enough... this thing kicks a$$. It smokes with no rebounding but Im sure I'll need to convince the refs.

My suggestion would be to invest in the JCS Duel Trigger.
The reason behind this is that the trigger has an adjustment for the switch nub. If it's not where it needs to be, you can adjust it until it works.

No way - I didnt realize that. I had heard about the JCS but never bothered taking a closer look and my store only had the Rufus Dawg at the time so I went with that. Didnt know the JCS had an adjustment.
Sweet, bye - bye Rufus - Hello JCS.
