Since I have bought my angel my A-5 has not seen much use. I lent it to a teammate last month and it shot fine. I took it home and cleaned and oiled it. Took it out yesterday to play and now I am having problems. The gun airs up fine but when you pull the trigger the gun fires 3 or 4 times. I don't have an e-grip. I am thinking that there is something wrong with the sear, but am not sure. Marker setup:
A-5 Dual trigger Flatline Palmers Femail Stab 68/3000 HPA tank
Thanks in advance for any help

That sounds about right, take the grip off and inspect the sear for wear (rounded?). It could also be the spring underneath the sear, but that should last way longer than the sear itself. Also, the sear could be having trouble traveling along the plate pin if it somehow got gunk in there.

Could also be an o-ring on the hammer. Might not have enough of a seal to build enough pressure to blow it back far enough.

Also check your rear bolt to make sure that there is a clean corner when it catches on the sear. If it's rounded out at all, call Tippmann for a replacement.
