Well I've been waiting for over a year to purchase this trigger system for my A-5. I saved, ordered, and installed following given Tippmann instructions.
If you feel this post is about the age old question 'How do you get it to work', your partly right. my biggest question is, how far is the pnumatic cylindar supposed to push the trigger? I know there is the 'sweet spot' where apparently you can hold your finger and let it 'bounce' the trigger off your finger thus firing again. Well, i tried that...I tried different pressure on the trigger, adjusting the speed screw, and trying to modify the trigger to make it work. My problem is that it doesnt seem that it is pushing the trigger back far enough to be effective. I have to let my finger off the rest of the way for it to make that clicking sound to let the sear re-engage. Is my RT broken? Do I just suck and need to learn to be more patient? I've already gone through a 24oz, and 2 20oz tanks trying to get it to work.
One last dumb question... You can shoot this with one finger, you trigger finger, right? Yes i can shoot fast if i reach over with my supporting hand and feather the trigger with my wrist bent all gay-like, but i want it to work like it should.

how far out is your speed screw? it should be almost all the way in at stock settings. One thing you can do is glue a washer to the piston of the RT. Just make sure it will not touch the sides of the housing. This will cause friction and slow it down. My guess is there is a leak somewhere. How is your cyclone working?

My Cyclone works great, and should i glue the washer on the inside of the piston??? --[{}||] ?? I will check for leaks and see if anything happens. I adjusted the set screw all the way out, and everything in between. Should i keep it barely open?

yea, when it is all the way out the sweetspot is so hard to find. It is nearly impossible to pull when it is out that far until you get the LPK fittings.
So start with it all the way in. Can you pull the trigger? if you can then you have a leak somewhere. If not unscew it 1/8. Keep unscrewing it 1/8 until you get it where you like it. (you can use 1/4 in the beginning but once you think it is almost perfect start using 1/8)

Yes i can pull the trigger. I actually found that my Flow Connector Bolt came with NO o-rings installed on it. I went to the nearest P-ball shop, and all the o-rings they had were too big. What should i do? Where can i buy these o-rings?

umm... go to your hardware store. Bring the bolt and tell them you need 3 orings all different sizes and show them where the orings need to go. If that done work, call tippmann and tell them you need some orings for the control valve. They should be there 3 days after you order them from tippmann.

Tippmann came to the rescue once again! They finally responded to my emails and gave me a couple different contact numbers to reach them at. After a quick run-down of the issues I was having, they decided it best to send me a whole new Flow Connector Bolt with o-rings pre-installed. This truly is another example of a fine company taking care of its users time and time again.
