Karma System

The karma system on the forum can be very helpful when used properly. It works like this, you start off with 0 karma power, and its up to other members to give you more power. Every member will have his/her own standards on giving karma to another member. Some will give you power if you do something funny, some will give you power if you do something nice, or for some, helpful things will get you power. You can also neg-karma someone, which will lower their power.

You are supposed to use this feature, not abuse it! When used correctly, it can accurately show how respected a member is, if you can trust them, and it can show rank (high power = higher rank - low power = lower rank). So, don't ask for power, and don't get in any scheme with other members to ultimately raise your powers when its not deserved. A close watch will be put on any of this, and if any of this is found, neg karma will be brought your way.

Karma is basically a member rating system based on their actions.

If you feel a member has done something good, you would give them positive karma, if you feel they have done something bad, you give them negative.

This system either adds or subtracts 1 from the users karma count. This is only of course assuming the admin of the forum has enabled karma (in general settings in admin)

The exalt link gives the user positive karma, and the smite gives them negative

You are limited to 1 issue of karma each hour to avoid foul play
