Just noticed that RAP4 is marketting a version of the Tiberious 8. rap4.com/paintball/os/black-hawk-tactical-paintball-pistol-p-1698.htmlThe only difference they claim is: "The Black Hawk Tactical Paintball Pistol is the Law Enforcement version of the Tiberius Arms Tac8. This version has increased power - especially necessary for use with non-lethal and less-lethal applications - having a top velocity over 350 feet per second"

Kinda lame... as I see, there is no difference at all from a Tag-8. Just slapped a new name and description on it, so the police force would use them.

It's the same pistol all the way. Look at the pic w/it in it's case, It says Tiberious on the side. -10 to RAP for remarketing another product.

Actually they made it for Law Enforcement so they could have a much higher Velocity (it can actually go past 400) so then it is more efficient in training. They have the OK from Tiberious Arms to do this, it was a joint deal.

I don't understand why companies rebrand and rename stuff. Black Hawk, OpsGear, RAP4, and lots of other sellers do this. American auto makers often do it when reselling foreign cars (GM/Toyota, Ford/Mazda, Crystler/Mitsu, etc). I can't imagine they'd go through the expense and hassle just to annoy those of us who know where the stuff is actually made. Maybe they need to rebrand anything that's made overseas in order to better market it to Military and Law Enforcement personel?
My Black Eagle (seems they changed the name from "Black Hawk" about 3 days after they started selling them) should be here today, and I am PSYCHED. I got a good deal on it because RAP4 sponsors my local team.
Now that I've disclosed that I'm not necessarily impartial, why does RAP4 have such a bad rep with some folks? I'm interrested in knowing so I can pass on the feedback. Checking out their forums it looks like the people who buy their RAP4 and 68 caliber markers love them, but I hear a lot of people who don't own them complaining about reliability issues. Anyone have experience with them?

w00t! FYI: There is no visible difference in stickers or anything fro the regular Tac8. Not sure how you'd know it's supposed to shoot harder.

My friend kept buying the RAP17 first time he got out of the package the grip was broken. Then he sent it in after having a hard time with the service rep they sent him back another one within a few shots the grip broke again. After that he sent it back again they wouldnt refund his money so he sold the next one on ebay. This may have just been bad luck but thats what I had seen so I try to veer away from that....Cant go wrong with a Tippmann..hehe oh and Tiberius customer service is awesome, Ive already had to deal with then and Tyler got ahold of me personally
