I've been dreaming of doing something like this for a while now. With SCS' plans for a Remington 870 I had decided, "Maybe I should save for it." I did for a while. Then they announced they were redoing the whole project and making a Mossberg 500. I thought and did the same thing as before. I continued saving. Months go by....nada. I give up on that idea so with some of the money I had saved, or what was left, was to buy a Trracer. A simple pump gun. single tube, easy to work with. I started searching on Ebay for rifle stocks. I won a Ruger 10/22 for $5.50. Awesome~ Now I have the two main parts. With the help of Gmex, I finished my shopping list of parts. Right now the marker is still under the $100 mark, after shipping of various items. I'm going to run a ASA Reducer to a 45 degree fitting with a SS line going through the stock to the handle. The other fitting will come out the bottom. The trigger set up and bolt will be similiar to the Coolest Gun in the World from one of the Pukin' Dogs. Here's what I have so far:

Something I've always thought would be hot is one of these pumps setup for lever action. Mmm....

Well I won the auction on like the 25th of January. The guy just sent it out three days ago. He said he had to "wait until the postal money order order cleared the bank"

Here's how far I got so far. sanded a lot of the inside of the stock and fitted the trracer (minus grip, trigger, pump handle) I ordered up the remaining parts I need so hopefully be here early next week. The trracer is pretty much just held in place with zip ties until I get the rest of the parts and measure some more.

Awesome job! How were you going to set up the trigger assembly with the stock handle so far back?
