Because I wear gloves and the surface of the stock A5 grip is pretty smooth, I wanted to get a sticky grip or do some kinda mod to secure my grip on the gun better. I dont believe that Dye or any other manufatuer makes a sticky grip for the A5 and even if they do, I feel that It would be a lil too wide for my hand. So the only other option I thought of was to get some grip tape for a skate board and cut out a design that fits the grip of the A5. If ur good at drawling you could even make a stensle and do a design to make it original and give it some style. Im no skateboarder but I believe that it also comes in different colors for u flasshy players out there. Do you have any other ideas and what do u think of this 1?

I have the Hogue grips on mine, and picked up some UMS panels at TWC. The Hogues feel pretty good, but they aren't a perfect fit for the shape of the A-5 grip, and tend to shift up and down over time. When I clean up the gun for a respray this winter I'll try out the UMS panels.
I wish Tippman had just gone with a regular 45 or m16 grip frame, or at least sold an aftermarket one.

I think that the M-16/Mp-5 grip style is actually more comforable than the 45 style that everyone likes so much... Of course, my first "real" gun was a semi-auto .22lr M-16 clone, so maybe I'm a bit biased.
I've not had the first problems with slipping or gripping with my A-5 without grips, with or withoug gloves.

Definitely get the Hogue Handall grip. They're real cheap on ebay. The do tend to slip up and down but never completely off. Its not perfect but its the best for the A-5. You can see the grip on my gun in my sig.

I have always thought of the grip tape idea, but I cant find any scraps. Although it is about $3-$4 where I am, I don't need a full piece. But the designs would be cool.

I have the Hogue handall grips also and have been happy enough with them. They have some nice palm swells that make the grip a little more beefy. They are a bit of a pain if you have an egrip. I've cut out a couple of holes in them.
