I broke a ball in my hopper last weekend. Actually, it broke in the pod and I just poured it all into the hopper. As expected, it made a pretty good mess. Unfortunately, my backup gun (A5) was in the middle of some mods and I couldn't use it w/o having to put it all back together. So, with a messy hopper and no backup, I called it a day. How can you clean something like that w/o taking the thing apart? or is it even possible? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet would be to stuff some paper towels in there and wipe around and use a battleswab to get the hard to reach places and the feedneck.

Q-tips can also work wonders for cleaning those hard-to-get-at spots.

I don't have an egg but I would say that a Battle Swab might come in handy: When I get a mess in my Halo, usually I just take the whole thing apart for a really good cleaning.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I think my best bet would be to clean it up as much as I can, and go ahead and tear it down when I get home so I can give it a thorough scrubbing.

I don't have an egg but I would say that a Battle Swab might come in handy: Hey, my buddy's got that hopper and he doesn't know how to keep the lid down. Is there a tab that we're not seeing to keep it open while reloading?
