I've been looking for some companies that paint PB markers... i haven't been able to find much.... does anyone know of any companies that do this?

I do not know of any paintball companies that do painting (seeing as all do anodizing and the A5's receiver halves are not compatible with that. Although, a good paintjob can be had with a can of metal specialty paint and a few hours time. Check out my first A5 pictured here - She was done with a fast drying paint made for metals and took around ~3 hours to finish (plus drying). a5og.proboards33.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=photogal&thread=1131531968 |

Check out Wookie's work at Tactical Camo. He uses Duracoat, which won't scratch or chip like regular pain, and his prices are cheaper than any others I've seen. |

yeah... ive sent wookie a couple of emails, but havent heard anything from him... i guess ill tackle it my self... i want to do a digital paint job

I'd suggest trying it on something else, before you do the a-5. A scrap of wood, or something like that would work. Just to make sure you get the hang of it down before you start doing the real thing...

... i guess ill tackle it my self... i want to do a digital paint job Well, here's some pics of my home-brew digital paint-job. It turned out ok, but be sure to put a protective clear-coat on. I decided after doing it that next time I'll have Wookie handle it- he said he'd do the whole thing for well under $200, and I figure I put at least 20 hours into a half-assed job, so that's well worth it. Malevolent_Frog, please share with us the place where you "experienced" a DURACOAT digital paintjob for so much less than Wookie's prices. RandyA and myself would be gratefull for the info. |

Nightgame setup I remember that... I was acctualy going to Mention M-Frog as a posible sorce of painting. But i wasn't sure if he did it for random people. |

MF - Those paint jobs are freaking gorgeous! Just wondering - when you guys go to paint your Tippmanns, do you completely chemically strip all the factory paint off or sand the factory paint? I have a "project" that I am working on  . |

E - Good guess butn o it does not. I figure I have a Halo so I'd get a Tippmann that could use that but this one will be a center fed and not a pump.

I have a "project" that I am working on . Trig I've always used chemical strippers for the A5's except for on stocks. I melted Divas first stock that way  For some reason it eats the stock plastic but doesnt do anything to the hopper or trigger assembly plastic. Once its stripped I wash it in a prep bath and hang to dry from then on no bare hands touch the marker. |
