I'v found that if you chew gum while you play,it keeps your mouth closed and forces you to breath thru your nose. It helps me

Unless you chew with your mouth open and then you INCREASE the risk of getting paint in your mouth if you take a mask shot.
I personally just use Fogtech and never get fog.

No, I chew with my mouth closed which forces me to breath through my nose and not expel hugh amounts heated air into my mask. I have a JT X-fire mask w/thermal lenses and a mask fan. I only really have trouble on cold days. Outside temps of below 45- inside temps 98.1 and above. I hope this clears that up

Try wearing glasses under a mask. If one doesn't fog up, the other will, guaranteed! Dosen't seem to matter how I breath, mouth open or closed. And I am using a Proto Switch, thermal lens & a fan. I have been thinking of designing a belt mounted fan that feeds through a hose to the mask, using a large, high CFM fan. Any thoughts?

That would dry my eyes out, and then I wouldnt be able to see anyway...
Anyway, I am normally panting so hard, I would swallow the gum and choke on it....

A good mask, fogtech and a fan will stop almost any fogging issue. Fogtech mostly though, I will swear by that stuff.

My masks and glasses fog like mad.
I've tried cat-crap brand anti-fog but it didnt help.
Someone on specops said to wear a headband to absorb any sweat that might trickle down. We'll see how that works out...

yeah ive tried the gum thing...not really on purpose but still...no it didnt work for me, but then again i run really hard and breathe harder so it matters none what i do, im gonna get fog. i just deal with it, its ended up with me getting shot a couple extra times because of the fact i cant see the opponent but hey, it adds to the fun. i just try to exhale down instead of into the mask or blow really hard so the heat doesn't have time to react with the lense. yeah headband might work too...ill try that one next time, ill look like an aerobics instructor but oh well...

I blow down and usually im panting really hard with a bit of asthma starting so i ust slowly breathe down. the new vantage goggle system from V-Force is pretty cheap and the goggle liner instead of foam is rubber like scuba goggles so it like seals off your face and you wont get sweat in your eyes. (really nice/ cheap goggles too). Umm you can try plexus plastic cleaner i used that for a while and it cleans rreally well. i only fog up in the rain though so i dont have very many fogging problems so i hope that this helps a little. Happy New Years.
