Just wondering what anyone might have tried to keep paint warm. I'm in Maryland so it's not real cold but in big games if I'm in the field more then an hour I start having paint issues. I am considering trying electric socks for at least the last few pods.

you could try putting a hand warmer in a sock. and throw it in a cooler, with your paint.

Maybe a chemical hand warmer put in a sock thrown in the box?
EDIT: dang randy, looks like we thought the same, I opend the window and came back to to it before I replied with my message and I just noticed yours.

What kind of paint are you using? I live in MA and play outdoors through the winter, never had a paint problem

I live in Mass. also, keep it in a cooler all day. Keeps it pretty warm. I also use Polar ice. Have not had a problem with that combo. Going to try Arctic inferno this weekend.

Yup, put them in a cooler and keep it shut. Usually last a long time.

First thanks everyone. I do keep my paint in a cooler that's not the problem it's in big games when I'm out in the filed for three or four hours straight. At the last scenario I was using Polar Ice and Marballizer. I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried to do something to keep the paint they carry in the field warm?

you could try putting a sock over your pods. to insulate them a little... but they might not fit in your pack/vest... just an idea.

well-you really can't do much, just buy winter specific paint.

Some buddies warmed towels in the dryer and placed them in a cooler with the paint to keep it warm.

Try lining the insides of your pods with some thin packing foam strips. The sheets that computer components come packed in. Just a thought. I usually run out of paint before getting to that point
