That's a slick looking A5, I really like the barrel shroud and the case. Nice job!

Yup, looks really nice. Good choice of reg for the A-5. Looks great on there. How do you like the regs performance?

Thanks for the input guys. The reg works well. It keeps my fps within +/- 5. Although I just played on Friday up here with the temp outside around 9*C that's about 40*F. And it was getting mighty cold. After a tank fill I couldn't get the pressure up over 400. Still got a head shot (right in the mouth) and fead my buddy some paint through.

Well, sorry for the late response. I had some pics on photobucket but deleted them a while back. I got the how to off Crewchief's web site. Here's the link to it, under custom modifications. There's a bunch of great mods there. I added a pic of the latest setup. I'll post more pics when I get my J&J barrel and air line setup.

BTW Rifle (Rifle95)... I used one of your pics in my articles... www.paintball.co.nz/articles/2005/camoextra.htmThanks bTW To come to think of it, I'm gonna feel like a bit of a nimrod if you tell me it was actually fabric camo tape you used Mind you, nobody can really tell just from looking at the photo

Very well done article. It looks like you put alot of effort into it. ;D
And, yes as you feared...the tape is fabric. My buddy tried the paper stuff after he saw what I did to mine and was needless to say...dissapointed. It looked good but it fell off his marker left and right. I'm quite pleased with how the fabric tape worked for me. It stayed put through five games and was easy to remove at the end of the season. It cleaned up pretty well too, the sides only frayed a bit when I wiped it with water.

Looks great, man! Care to give us some tips on foam-lining a case like you did?
Oh, and first post here, good to see the rest of the old A5OG regulars.

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it. I'm finally closing in on the setup I want. It was inspired alot by Milslane's A5. Looking Good Rifle...Your MP5 Mod Is looking great...One Thing You Might Look For Just For The Added Affect...Is A Retracting(goes in and out dont know what to call it) MP5 Stock....i know ive seen one, on Paintball-Forum.com....if you wanna look over there u could prolly find one...but anyways, the marker looks GREAT I didn't consciously go for the MP5 look this time. I felt and was right that a horizontal foregrip would be more comfortable for me. Once you do that it lends itself to the MP5 look...plus if I put the barrel shroud on the J&J once it arrives then yup definately. I plan on keeping it stock free. I'd go to a JCS stock though if I did. Looks great, man! Care to give us some tips on foam-lining a case like you did? I'll try and get some pics up of it. There are three layers of 1" foam. The top layer has the most cut out (marker shape + extras) then less on the next layer (cyclone & airline) and just an area cut out for the cyclone on the third layer. I used a marker to outline the A5 and parts and cut out with a razor knife.

I have a similar Aluminum Brief case that I had originally setup for the my Spyder, had to mutilate the foam inside for the A5 now. What kind of foam could you recommend to re-do the inside of the case with.

Posted newest pics of it. I've since grown out of the aluminium case so...I'm gonna be modding a rolling tool box to carry all of my gear including the mask.

Hey nice a-5. I am interested to see what you come up for in terms of a barrel shroud for that apex you got. Keep us posted. BTW: the foregrip is working great!
