This is my Woods II independent project, a wooden pump for my SL. Now this is the first time I have done any checking so it is a little rough, but for the most part I really like it. The best part I think is the finger groves I put in it, fells really nice and gives good grip. So what do you guys think?   |

Hey thats pretty sick looking. You should paint the rest of the gun to go with the orangish colur.

Painting the gun is my next project, I am thinking it will be flat balck, not a big fan of brightly colored guns.

LR thats very nice! How much time do you have in it? The finger grooves are the cherry on top.
Ety, yes you can still find J&J barrels for the SL-68II.

Ety, Yes they do still make the J&J's for the SL , I went to there trailer at TWC last year and just asked them that same question, they had 12" and 14", I got the 14" it is WAY better then the stock barrel.
raindog, I put about 12 -13 hours into it total, the hardest part was just drilling the holes in the blank (unstated grip, no work done on it yet) so they would line up. It took about 4 try’s just to do that.

No worries man. I'm sure you knew, it jsut may have slipped your mind. Hell, its printed on the side of the gun. Personally, I like the SL 68 better since you can change out the grip style. I'll post up pictures of my collection soon... |
