Seriously thinking about getting me one since I have 2 A5s now.
What paint do you shoot in yours? Any tactical paints work good?

I've used yellow Evil with great success in every barrel I've used. It's not exactly tactical, but it's super consistent, extremely round, and has a nice thick fill. The shell breaks on target but rarely in the barrel, and it's dead-on accurate. Favorite paint of all time.

Agreed, Evil and Marbs are the best for accuracy.

When buying paint locally Ive always used Marbs but I think the best tactical paint I have ever bought was the Nelson Special Forces Ranger paint. 1800 count that come in a hard plastic ammo box for $44.00 from: www.firstcallpaintball.com. Thickest fill ive ever seen and the shell breaks great on contact. Shell color is copper, reminds you of a bullet and is almost impossible to see comming at you. When testing the paint my friend was standing 20 feet to my right and couldnt pick the balls up after they came out of the barrel 5 feet (its a great advantage not to have flashy paint). And most important !!! this is a small calliber paintball, I believe its 684 cal which the flatline loves!!! Shoots straight, flat and accurate as can be. Not sure if they make a winter fill tho.

For my Flatline, I'm a born again XBall Bronze fundamentalist. Absolutely nothing has worked better, case after case. My experience with XBall Silver is that it sells so slowly that you will often get stale paint that is fragile and unusable.

I've had great luck with Scorch and Big Ball.

Draxxus scorch from Wal-Mart. 20$ for 1000, they are orange...which I don't really like for woodsball, but at least they are easy to track in flight. They do have a very thick, very visible flourescent pink fill.
I have gone thru about 10,000 of these with no breaks.

I used some PMI/RPS Premiums that I had before I switched over to the a5. They work great, but are pretty oily on the outside and I had to run paper towel through the bags to remove lots of it - otherwise you have to rinse out the flatline after about 1000 rounds.
As for nelson, I'll take a look at that special forces paint, I've used atleast 5 cases of nelson nel-splat in my old gun - they seemed to be some what of a larger bore, with a dry, thick shell and thick fill. My brother got some cheaper nelson brand paint once and that didn't go too well though.
