Beaker's A-5 "Wookie-fied"

Thanks to Wookie's Digi-Cam stencil kit, I have completed trial #1 of digi-camming my A-5. It's o.k., but needs improvement. It'll last this year, and probably next year I'll re-sandblast and start over. But the kit is phenomenal. The stencils are incredibly easy to work with and look great. I'll let the pics do the talking.

Here are the two halves. Notice the removed front fin.



Here's my Scepter and my shroud, made by Wojtek79. And now for the plastic parts:



My A-6 Monster Hopper. I should have used Krylon Fusion paint, but I ran low on funding for 9 can's of paint.



My Tasco T-6 Stock



And finally, my Cyclone. This one didn't turn out very well at all, but I goofed up on colors and I'll get it right next time. It was fun to do some painting, but I'm no expert. After the clear dries, I'll post up an assembled pic.

on the contrary(sp?) it looks really really good...if u had more funding it woulda looked better but you gotta work with what you got...glad wookies stencils helped you

Here's my latest in progress... (Same kit, but i'm also experimenting with 3m painters tape.)

I like using the little pixels to diffuse the pattern...

Looks nice- but since you've cut your fin, you might want to take advantage of a UMS Animus Rail to bring the launcher closer to the barrel- or does it feel better down low?

Now you tell me about the aniums rail! I took one of the rails off of my RIS mkII and used it to bring it up tight to the barrel:
