I've played tennis on my high school varsity team for the past four years. I usually play either first or second doubles. I've also thought about running track or cross country but never actually got around committing to it.

forget extracurricular activities...i have better things to do than help out something that is giving nothing back to me. Besides almost daily exercise and another thing to put on your college application. Extracurricular activities look good on college applications... As for myself, I've been playing on the school Tennis team. Singles, doubles, mixed doubles I do it all.

physical efforts on school teams means nothing to college education, they dont care. if your smart and deserve it, they'll let you in no matter whether you played a sport. plus there are much more enjoyable ways to exert yourself. i ride horses, play paintball, and whatnot so i dont see a good enough result in school extracurriculars that equals up to my standards.

accually the more invovled you are and MAINTAIN your grades the colleges see that as they perform well are invovled and can have more than just school on there minds and do well. Thats the beauty of being in....

Freshman here.... Football and Track. I do the 100,200,and the 4x4.... I'm a sprinter.
a5chica- That is not true at all. Colleges look at that kind of stuff and value it greatly. Think about picking up some extracurricular acticites, it will help you get into college.
