I participated in a thread like this on the A5OG but I can't remember who started it. If anyone can tell me, PM me and I'll give credit where it's due.
We all have user names on the A5OD that people use to describe us. What do they mean? Where did they come from? Let's hear it, people.
---------------------------
My user ID, Mavro, is really the first five letters of my last name, Mavromoustakos. It means 'black mustache' in Greek. In high school, there were always several Nicks (that's my first name), in our group. The easiest way to distinguish one from the other was to call that person by their last name. Since mine is 14 letters long, they cut it short and started calling me "Mavro." It stuck and here I am. The funny part is that people from college/work that I didn't go to high school with naturally started calling me that for the same reason.

I can't remember who started the original post on A5OG but I know it was also on the very first A5OG.
Anyway, mine is kinda easy: Trigga Nometry is just a play on trigonometry. Math stuff. I'm considered the geek at work and a co-worker came up with it for me.

Well my "old" name, 99GenX, is after an origional 1999 RF ANS Autococker. It was what I consider my first "high end" gun and the piece that got me into all this whoring buisness.
Asylum came with the creation of this forum - Figured this would be our "asylum" for the type being, keep us from loosing our minds over all the trauma of having our old OG taken away from us...

Think the Atlantic in may... the male body ... a poor choice of words and a poor choice of time at which to utter them.

If you have heard of Tom Waits I'm sure you know his album "Raindogs" (there is also a song by the same name on the album). His music is very eccentric, kind of a mix between art-sy Blues and Jazz, al little dark at times. He's an old Beatnick/poet. Very cool stuff, but kinda an acquired taste. To get the meaning of "RainDog" you would have to listen to the song. And no, it does NOT mean I'm a Dog/Dawg/G. No offence to anyone who thinks them self as one.

Mine means pretty much nothing... I read it somewhere when I was trying to think up a username for the A5OG way back when and thought it sounded cool.

Hello everybody, I dont post much, but I am here everyday, I feel like I know all of you(sorta). Any way I dont post much , cause I dont really have much to say, and I try to stay away from the one-liners.
As for my name, Long story.....Once Upon A Time...In A time Long long ago...I used to do bad things(key words...."used" and "long ago")
anyways I am sure you all know what being spun is...well hence my name Spunion, well I shortened it to just spunny and I consider it the way I play ball now, hard and fast.
anyway I will try to post more.
Take care all

Jester was Michael Ironside's character in Top Gun. I was watching that movie when I signed up on my first web forum. The TLS on the end is tossed on because most site already have Jester taken. TLS comes from when I use to ride motorcycles. My last bike was a 1997 Suzuki TL1000S. I miss putting it on the back wheel, but T-boning a Cadilac will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth for motorcycles.
And no that wreck wasnt my fault. The three before that were, however.

At my old work, I was the guy that "knew everything" about PCs, programming and such, so everyone asked me. Hence, they all started calling me "The Guru". When trying to find a Yahoo mail username, ChadTheGuru was the only thing I could come up with that wasn't already taken. So I kept it
