Well i was just listening to some music in my Jeep. Put in a Cd i burned a few weeks ago, its what ive been listneing to scince i got my Sub. So then i put in a Original Cd. (not burnt ) And crank it all the way up and i find that Its louder and the bass is ALOT louder. I have a Hp pavilion with a cd burner in it and i use Lightscribe Cd's...so im not usein junk... Anyone else notice this? Is there a program that can make it lounder on a burnt cd? Also, the songs that i put on my burnt Cd's arent from my original cd's. I download them...could that be the reason? haha..anyone understand what i said? Thanks for readin, Tippy~

one thing to look for when DL music is thebit rate....uh maybe thats the wrong term...anyways when you rip music to a harddrive...you can choose the size at which it saves your music....the bigger the size the better the quality, if you are DL'ing small files then you are probably not getting good quality, I am sorry the proper terminolgy is escaping me right now.
anyhoo...when searching for music to DL...look for larger file sizes and check the kbps i believe 190 and above is fairly good at least thats what I always DL'ed
(kbps i believe in this case is referring to the amount of bytes of info it plays per second not inmternet speed)
but i have been wrong before...once....
anyway hopes this helps

Yes most songs you download have been compressed....therefor they are missing parts of the songs or have been volume reduced by whosever PC that ripped it....

Or you might have a poor encoder for your burning program.

If you use Itunes (shudder) you can increase or decrease the bass, trebel, volume, and a few other options for each track, prior to acctualy burrning it.

Thanks guys, Tippy~ I dont believe you can make the files bigger(hence add more quality)...what you would have to do is find the song you want , and download a better version of it

I gotta warn everybody against ITunes. I used to buy my music legally, through ITunes, and then it was all locked on my MP3 player... it wouldn't come off... it was locked on there!!! So what happens when I need to upgrade my firmware? All my music is gone... $150 down the drain. Thanks a lot, ITUNES!!!
