You want gaming so Id def go for a AMD processor, some people will say Intels better, but believe me. I saw HL2 run on a Intel with a better vid card, but then I saw HL2 with a slightly worse vid card but was running an AMD and was better. Get a gig of RAM at least, RAM helps so much. Sorry I cant be more help, but Im a amatuer computer builder.
Edit: oops didnt see you had the processor picked.

Not sure if you have checked out Tigerdirect.com yet or not but definately worht while if your going for this stuff, you can usually find a MOBO and CPU bundle for a great deal and other things along with that.
Like right now I Know they have a Maxtor 300GB HDD for like $89.99 You can also get some really good power supplies from there for around $50-60 which if your going for 500W + you ont want to go cheap (rating may not be accurate on the cheaper ones)
Processor Choice seems adequate, you can always go up later.
Something new that has come out is DDR2 Ram which has broken the 1GB barrier for RAM, a bit spendy and not to many MOBO will accept them but if your serious about gaming I would look into that for sure.
I didnt see any Video card listed, So I would highly recommend something at least 256mb
Also your cooling will eb an issue so dont cheap out on either fans, or liquid cooling, if you want tigerdirect.com has a PCI card cool that sits in a Vacan PCI slot to help cool your PCI cards and Vid card.
I know you said to use just that site but looking through it I found some better deals over at tiger direct, not all but some so its worth checking out and they have EXCEELENT customer service there to.

I see you found a Vid card, good choice BTW, also your RAM is great, you may want to find a MOBO that has at least 3-4 RAM slots so you can add more. Never buy a MOBO with just 2 RAM slots
Your DVD burner, if your going to burn DVDs or music, your sounds quality and copy quality will not be all that great with that NEC, I had one a while back (it was cheap so why not right?) the CD's i had burned were crappy quality and they were direct copies from a actual CD. If your getting a burner dotn get stingy on it, expect to pay at least 50-60 for a good reliable one
