This is a small program that I have used as a moderator and administrator on other boards.
Once installed (and yes, it is freeware), it only takes a couple of clicks to resize the most commonly used types of images (JPG, GIF) You can also convert from one format to the other, as well as batch resize/ convert. Very handy tool!
