I have noticed this place is kinda dead, just like the A5ownersgroup lounge on "That forum which shall remain nameless". What happened to everybody? We used to have like 5 new posts just as you finished reading one on the OG, and gobs upon gobs of information and everything. I have posted about the missing polishing internals how-to and there has been no reply to that in almost 2 weeks. usually stuff like that is taken care of or replied to within a matter of minutes. I realize we dont have the member capactiy currently. I just wish I had a camera to put up some information such as this stuff to help out the forum. We are seriously lacking something here. I know the staff is working hard on both sites, but since our little "episode" and move we have lost a great deal of the A5OG members and information that was a vital part of the forum. What if anything can the current members do to help out?

Well..for me, I have been pretty busy these last couple days and have hardly had the time to get on the forum.
Plus with deer hunting being last week and thanksgiving being this week its kinda expected for things to be a little slower.

The only cure to our emptiness is time. Everyday when I look at the new members, I recognize most of them from the a5og. We cant expect 2,000+ members like the a5og accumulated in its 2 year life, when we've only been open for a few months. We only have around 200 members, and if you go through the members list and check out there post count, less than 10% of them are core, frequent members.

man, I am here everyday, I dont post much, I really dont have a lot to say that you all dont already know about paintball. I will try to post more on random subjects, but i reallly dont like it when ppl post frivolous remarks and thats mostly what I have.

I think that a lot of the problem is that the closure of the A5OG and the disaster of the "That forum which shall remain nameless" in the early going ran quite a bit of the membership off. You'll notice that while "That forum which shall remain nameless" has over 1000 members, the new post count on a daily basis is low as well. It's because there are less people posting as often on both forums.
I think that the move probably reduced our active member base by about 45%.

kreeper said it. i post over aty "That forum which shall remain nameless" and its pretty dead still. sometimes the lounges, which should me more active will go a whole day without any new posts let alone threads.
the membership over there is growing, but i don't see many new faces.

Maybe it's time we quit paintball altogether and form a new forum called the Ex-Paintballers Group! okay, stupid idea, I know.. Well, what can I say, gentlemen? All it takes is time and continued dedication. We've all got the stickies in place, and there's hardly more we can add. It now comes down to attracting new players and answering their questions, and waiting for manufacturers to release more gear for us to talk about.

It probably wouldn't hurt to put links in our sigs on other forums and dirrect people here when they ask a question on other forums we frequent.
Just don't go out there spamming other forums...

Things will be picking up soon. All good things take a little time.
