I finally started cleaning up my basement after getting annoyed at the lack of space to clean my ProMaster. So my Dad and I moved a wire (Connect but hanging near an outlet that was never connected) and moved a light over a table that's been accumulating tools for the last 5 years. Its I also want some where I can open up a computer, so I am probably going to get rubber to put on top of the desk for anti-static and so nothing gets scratched. I have an extra set of Logitech 5.1 speakers so I am going to try mount them onto the peg board around the desk. I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations of what tools and stuff I should get or any ideas of what I should do? I'll post pics tomorrow.

-two sets of the important tools you need. in case you lose or break one you have a backup. -a small magnet wall to hold any small metal parts that are magnetic. so they don't get snagged by the "parts gnome" -good lighting. in addition to a adjustable desk light. - put a lip around the edge of the work bench, so parts don't roll away and get lost -a hot and cold wrench - a small (16oz), medium (5lb), and large (8-10 lb) hammer -and most important... a punching bag. for when things don't go as planned usually i just throw things, but this can be counterproductive.

I am going to see if I can find a piece of rubber with a rim on it.

beer, whatever you get get the good stuff that you can best afford. The cheaper stuff I use when they could get lost or for my kids and wife to "fix" things- crescent wrench/hammer type of thing.
